Cloth training pants

Cloth training pants are good for potty training. These pants are worn just like the older children wear briefs. These have elastic bands at all the hemlines like the waist and the openings for the legs to pass through; they are called pants but they look much like briefs.

Cloth training pants are made of absorbent material or are lined by it. If there is a potty accident and the child does not reach the toilet in time the absorbent material holds the moisture and excrement. It does cause a little discomfiture to the child but it is immediately aware and may remember to avoid the same situation again.

They can be trained by the parents to move to the toilet when they begin to feel the nature’s call, remove the pants and sit on the commode. Of course a few accidents will happen but most child psychologists believe that the children learn to potty train themselves by wearing Cloth training pants. For the self-esteem of the child or the toddler it is important to buy good quality Cloth training pants which hide the mess of the accident well.

This means that such pants are made of two layers of cloth where the inner layer is absorbent and the outer can be any other material. Yet the potty training goes on as the child is aware of the discomfiture and would not like such a feeling to arise again. It is recommended to use natural Cloth training pants instead of synthetic ones as the cotton ones breathe easier and are environmentally friendly.
